How we audit an application
A transparent sequence so you know what arrives back on your desk — and what we refuse to invent.
We recreate a sceptical panel reading: coherence first, then language, then checklist hygiene.
Stage 01 — Intake
Scope against the real portal
You share programme guidelines, word limits, and the hard upload date. Together we name which documents sit inside the audit and which stay with referees or schools. If the calendar cannot support a careful read, we say so before you pay.
Stage 02 — Dual pass
Two readings, different questions
Pass one asks whether claims, dates, and evidence agree across the dossier. Pass two asks whether a tired reader finds the strongest artefacts early and whether language obscures or clarifies them. We do not score you; we annotate.
Stage 03 — Return
Margin notes plus a ranked memo
Drafts come back with margin comments. A separate memo ranks revisions by likely impact so you spend the remaining days on mismatches and buried evidence, not on synonym swaps.
Stage 04 — Clarification
One call to unpack, not rewrite
Up to 45 minutes on the full audit (shorter on narrower engagements). We walk the memo order. We do not ghostwrite new paragraphs live. You leave with a revision sequence you own.
Boundaries we keep
- No fabricated activities, awards, or research roles
- No guarantees of admission, funding, or licensing outcomes
- No substitution for official counselling required by a school
- No opening of confidential recommendation letters
Where this leads
Most clients continue to the Full Application Audit or a Pre-Submission Consistency Check once drafts are nearly final. Fee ranges live on the fees page.
